My 12-week course with General Assembly has come to an end. It’s been an amazing and intense learning experience. A big thank you to Mike, Nick & Gerry, my teachers along the way.
It’s still very fresh, but I’m very happy with the outcome. I feel confident that I can build web applications independently and more importantly, I enjoy the process of doing so more than I would have imagined. Its satisfying in a way that few other things are. I’m excited to continue growing as a software developer.
I look forward to reflecting on this properly over the next weeks.
In the meantime, the end of the course means I am now looking for my first job in development. If anyone knows great companies and engineering teams that are hiring, do let me know.
Projects
- Project one - Gap Year Ninja (A browser-based game)
- Project two - BookClubr (my first express app)
- Project three - KarmaCommunity (MEAN stack app, built with Martin)
- Project four - YourCare (MERN stack app)
